Copper & Fine Silver Bangle - Oct. 10th

In this class you will create a bangle out of copper wire. The process involves sawing, annealing metal, texturing and cold connections. Once the bracelet is complete, you will embellish it by torch firing PMC3 onto it. Tools will be supplied to use in class, but you are encouraged to bring your own: bracelet mandrel, vise, jeweler’s saw and #1 blades, safety glasses, earplugs, hammers (chasing, riveting, and ball peen), hand files, rawhide mallet, flush cutters, PMC and texturing tools of choice. Materials kit includes use of tools, a 9g pack of PMC3, fine silver wire for cold connecting and copper wire.
