Ancient Roman Glass "Biscuits", Strand
Ancient Roman glass beads excavated from Djenne. Over 2000 years old. A gorgeous 31" strand of "biscuit" (squashed oval) beads, sizes ranging from approx. 2mm x 6mm to 9mm x 5mm. Variety in shapes and color ranges from olive green to aqua to cobalt, and there is some calcification.
