BACK IN STOCK! African Traders call this "Dig Beads". They are ancient glass beads excavated in Djenne, Mali and date back to 0 – 100AD. Made in Italy, they followed the Sahara Trade Route to Mali. Colors can vary, but they are most commonly aqua blue; calcification on glass is common. 26" strand of graduated beads ranging from the very small (3×2mm) to a rare triple-hole bead (20 × 7mm).
