Ancient Roman Glass Beads, 24" strand
Charming 24-25" strand of 2000+ year old Roman glass (and some stone) beads. Each strand has a variety of bead shapes, sizes, and colors. They were excavated around Djenné (which is near Timbuktu) in the country of Mali. There is some calcification on a few beads. The average size for a beads is roughly 4-5mm in diameter, although each strand does have a few larger beads.
