Ancient gold-foil glass tube beads excavated from Afghanistan. Better condition than two other strands listed. This 20" strand boasts thicker and better preserved beads. There are small ones approx 3mm x 4mm to 29mm x 7mm. Nice color and translucency with little calcification. Only one strand of this quality in stock.

Ancient Afghan Calificied Gold Foil Glass Tube Beads, strand

20" strand of Ancient (1000+) Gold Foil Glass Tube beads excavated from Afghanistan. Tubes vary in length; typically there are short ones (8mm x 4mm) and long ones (38mm x 4-5mm) with 1mm holes. These strands have high-calcified glass in them, meaning that there is less of the "gold" foil tones. Very delicate.

Antique "Root Beer" colored Glass Beads, strand
AFGHAN2007ST
Beautiful 18" strand of antique glass beads from Afghanistan. Approximately 75-100 years old. Whoring ridge, semi-translucent "root beer" color (with some variants – see photo); bead average 9mm x 5mm; with one slightly larger, flattened centerpiece bead. Four strands in stock, they all look roughly like the one pictured to the left.

Over 1,000 years old, these root beer-amethyst colored beads are pretty uniform in size (3mm x 2mm to 6mm x 5mm) with a few tubes, saucers, and oval shapes; with some calcification. There are a few newer beads in the bunch, they are approx 100 years old. This is strand C.
