15.5" strand of small, delicate, rare and ancient carnelian beads from the Indus valley region. Bead are very old, hailing from 1500 B.C. making them over 3,500 years old. They have been recently re-strung and come in various sizes and shapes (see photo) with two focal beads. Sizes range from disc-shape 5-7mm in diameter x 2-3mm thick to cylinder-shape 3mm diameter x 7-8mm long with two focal beads — one being an odd conical bead14mm long x 7mm at the base. With very small 1mm holes.

Ancient Carnelian and Jasper Stone Beads

29" strand of ancient stone beads with bow-drilled holes (conical shape from either side). Possibly from either Mali or India (and traded in Africa). Most are Carnelian with some red jasper mixed in. They are both flat thick and thin discs (some are faceted) and a few are squashed ovals; very rare. Beads average size range from 2mm x 10mm to 9mm x 14mm.
