Bakelite

Imitation amber beads made from a bakelite-like substance made in 1920s in Europe and traded in Yemen. Cornerless cubes measuring 23mm in diameter with a 2mm hole for stringing. Photo shows numerous beads, SOLD SEPARATELY.

Vintage bakelite (an old type of plastic first developed in the 1920s, and used extensively thru the 1950s) necklace/choker with round marbled beads.  Each bead is about 1/4" diameter and is a smooth avocado green with faint butterscotch marble swirls.  The double strand is 17" long not clasped; and is for a thin neck.  Also included is a pair of matching screw-back dangle earrings. Excellent condition… but areas of the chain need to be cleaned.

Impressive, two-layered black "club" pin with diamond-like cut glass.  Made of Bakelite (an early form of plastic), circa 1920s.  Standard 2" pin and eye on the back so you can wear it with your favorite outfit. 3" wide x 2.5" tall.

Very colorful Bakelite (and early form of plastic) clip (image shows front and back).  Clip onto your label, pocket or scarf!  3 3/8" long x 1.50" wide.  Circa 1920; Says "Parisstyle" on back of clip, but probably German or US made. In excellent shape!
