Antique Bronze Ethiopian Shields

Bronze "shield" (with some iron content) from Ethiopia. Shield A 47mm diameter with a raised 15mm nipple in the center of the shield; shield B 49mm diameter with a raised 15mm nipple in the center of the shield; Shield C 51mm diameter with a slight raised 8mm bump in the center of the shield. Each shield has three to four 2mm holes and nice stamped design work.

Two unusual bronze "shield" from Ethiopia. Shield D 52mm diameter with a raised 10mm nipple in the center of the shield which is very rough with high iron content; shield E 43mm diameter with a raised 7mm bump in the center of the shield. which has a very high copper content—hence the nice coppery color which most of these shields don’t usually have. Each shield has three to four 2mm holes and nice stamped design work. Bronze "shields" (with high iron content) from Ethiopia. Collector’s set of three: two are 53mm in diameter and the smaller is 41mm in diameter. Hand-made with a raised "nipple" in the center of the shield. Each shield has four 3mm holes and nice stamped design work. Over 100 years old. Each shield would make and awesome center piece for any tribal necklace.
