Strand of Moroccan Zebra Shells; Black & White and Brown & White

These cute little shells are traditionally strung with coral and amazonite and are unique to Berber jewelry. The shells are old and there is some wear to some of the beads. They are not new beads. They were used by the Berber people in Morocco in traditional tribal jewelry and hair ornaments. These shell beads are about 100 years old. This strand has both brown and white and black and white shells; very old (more than 100 years) and very rare. 30" strand.
