Niello prayer box pendant from Afghanistan
Old (75-100 years) prayer container pendant from Afghanistan. Coin silver with "Niello" engraving on the front. Niello is a black metallic alloy of sulfur, copper, silver and (inert) lead. The prayer box measures 60mm x 40mm x 12mm with two 5mm bails on top.
