Tuareg "Gri Gri" Pendant with Seal, A

Wonderful coin silver pendant from the Tuareg tribes of northwestern Africa. This is a "gri gri" seal worn by men in the Tuareg tribe as a protective symbol of male virility. 40mm tall with an 18mm square seal on the bottom. Design is only on front side of the pendant; photo shows detail of its seal. 75-100 years old.
