Vintage Bakelite Bracelet D
Very nice vintage bakelite bracelet probably produced in Germany in the
1920s. Slightly less than 2.50" inner diameter with geometric/floral design work. Image depicts
top and 3/4 view of bracelet.
Bakelite was one of the first plastics made from synthetic components. Bakelite was used for its electrically non-conductive properties (for telephones and radios), toys, eating utensils, and, in our case, jewelry.
